I set out to create a mega-pack of 144 custom watercolor brushes 100 % from scratch. It took me 250 hours of trial and error while sampling genuine watercolor strokes.
Why would someone spend 250 hours on a pack of custom brushes? Don’t get me wrong, I would purchase a pack like this in a heartbeat, but I couldn’t find any. And since I’ve been doing digital illustration professionally for over 15 years now, I really needed it in order to work faster and achieve even better results.
I first thought this set is going to include about 20 brushes, but when digging into it, I decided to cover ALL the watercolor scenarios out there.
